Male  24 years old 2018-05-02
Lard is the most commonly used cooking oil in my family, but I heard that it is best not to use it, so I would like to ask why?

Don't actively choose lard (meat oil) when cooking. It is mainly related to its ingredients. There is a widely spread wrong saying that "appropriate eating lard is beneficial". There is no evidence to support eating lard is healthy, and lard contains More saturated fatty acids and cholesterol, they are harmful to the cardiovascular system.
