Patients with gout/hyperuricemia eat poultry (chicken and duck) better than red meat (pig, beef, sheep, etc.), and ingesting moderate amounts of poultry meat has little effect on blood uric acid levels. Compared with seafood and red meat, poultry protein has the least effect on blood uric acid, so it is recommended that patients prefer poultry meat as the main source of animal protein.
