Mainly relying on the liver, there are some special structures on the surface of liver cells-low density lipoprotein receptors (LDLR), which are responsible for "capturing" LDL flowing through the liver blood, and then "endocytosis" into the liver cells. In hepatocytes, the two are separated. Among them, LDL is decomposed by hepatocytes to become other things, and LDLR is re-transported back to the surface of hepatocytes to continue to play a role and be recycled.
