Why does Chinese medicine say that anger hurts the liver?

Female  27 years old 2018-04-22
My friend said it was uncomfortable last week, so I accompanied her to a Chinese medicine doctor. The doctor said he was angry and hurt the liver. What does that mean?

Generally speaking, Chinese medicine believes that "anger" is the "zhi" of the liver, and this emotional response is closely related to "liver". Chinese medicine believes that "anger is qi", mostly refers to excessive anger that makes liver qi upset. Chinese medicine believes that "qi is the handsome of blood, blood is the mother of qi", qi and blood are interdependent and fundamental to each other
