Male  32 years old 2020-05-10
During my medical examination, the doctor told me that the fetus had a abdominal fissure. After listening to it, it seemed that the sky had collapsed. What did the fetal abdominal fissure do?

Abdominal fissure, also known as visceral valgus, refers to the real defect of the para-umbilical abdominal wall during embryonic development, accompanied by prolapse of abdominal viscera, completely without skin and peritoneal coverage. Abnormal body pedicle is a serious defect of the chest wall and abdominal wall. Due to various reasons, the formation of the body pedicle fails to cause no umbilical cord or chest wall. The most common cause of abdominal fissure is amniotic band syndrome.
