Male  71 years old 2020-05-10
I have been diagnosed with lung cancer and have been treated by surgery, but during this time, headache and vomiting occurred, and I am afraid that the brain has metastasized. How do I diagnose it?

Diagnosis methods for lung cancer brain metastasis are: 1. Preferred enhanced MRI. Enhanced MRI is the gold standard for the diagnosis of intracranial tumors. 2. PET-CT can evaluate the metabolic situation of tumors and normal tissues, distinguish radionecrosis or tumor recurrence; display the best target area for biopsy, and perform tumor grading at the same time. 3. If enhanced MRI shows enhancement of the pia mater, lumbar puncture is highly recommended. 4. Examination of cerebrospinal fluid, cytology examination can see malignant tumor cells.
