I have been suffering from gout for many years and do not eat seafood, but recently the doctor said that some vegetables should also be controlled to eat, and their purine content is not high, why should they be controlled?

Some vegetables contain more oxalic acid, and excessive intake of oxalic acid will affect uric acid metabolism. Chinese kale, bitter gourd, and tomatoes have high vitamin C content, and the product of metabolism in the body is also oxalic acid, but after all, the content in food is much lower than a vitamin C tablet, so there will be no obvious problems with proper consumption.
