Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease is mainly caused by pelvic congestion. Patients may have symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, increased menstrual flow, and dysmenorrhea. When the ovarian function is impaired, menstrual disorders and fallopian tube adhesions may occur.
