How to raise high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C)

1. Lose weight.
2. Increase physical activity or regular exercise.

4. Use olive oil as cooking oil.
5. Quit smoking.
6. Taking fibrates or niacin sustained-release preparations.
